Things to Do

Spring

Snow comes early and stays late in northern New Hampshire’s Androscoggin Valley, which allows snow-enthusiasts to make the most of their favorite winter activities. Hit the slopes to ski or snowboard, head out for one last snowmobile ride, pedal along on your fat bike or book a spot on the Mt. Washington SnowCoach before it closes in March.

The warm days and cooler nights also signal one of spring’s sweetest pleasures, as maple sugaring gets underway in sugarhouses all across the region. Sugar on snow followed by a sour pickle is a highlight of this season of new beginnings.
